Yesterday team Germany-Switzerland-USA started the pan-european BMX tour in Cologne or even rather before in Bruno Hoffmann’s local park in Siegen. With friendly support of the FIAT Freestyle Team Qubo Model Markus Braumann, Paddy Gross and Timur Karadchajew were on the road together with our filmer Dominik „Woozy“ Wrobel and photographer Martin „xmx“ Ohliger to pick up the last two missing tour guests in Siegen. Since our
Ty Morrow stayed at
Bruno’s house after the FISE competition we had to collect those two street rockets together from Bruno’s hometown. After a short park session the team took off for one or two Vans waffles at the People’s Store in Cologne. Of course the need for food was a little bigger and 1,2,3 the profi BBQ grill at the People’s Store war lighted and burgers were on!

Our tour start died away easily with guests like
Ralf Maier, Janosch Ritter and
Ashley Charles from the UK and of course loads of beers from Cologne. So all of us were starched for the next day to go straight to Wuppertal.

Meeting point on Thursday was the BMX/MTB pro shop “The Local Face” in Wuppertal. We started the street tour with the local face and owner
Mike Emde and of course Mike knew how to “face” the rain: a real street spot under a bridge. After the first session the local face crew expected us with another great BBQ at the shop, which unfortunately was not really tolerated by the neighbours…thanks!

Whatever- as the last stop we went for the Wicked Woods indoor skate- and BMX park. The park and the crowd got entertained with a lot of good ricks, such as heavy bowl to wall combinations by Ty. The next tour update can be expected on Saturday, when we have the pleasure to visit the FlensBMX Jam and the famous Schlachthof park the whole weekend.
