FISE Xperience Series was a fantastic event, thanks in particular to the sporting performances put in by the pro and amateur riders and the atmosphere that kept the crowds entertained!
On Friday afternoon, in bright sunshine, the city of Wolverhampton began to vibrate to the rhythm of urban sports with the first BMX Freestyle Park qualifiers before the first finals on Saturday. In the Pro category, it was Dylan Hessey, the Englishman who was eagerly awaited on this stage and who had already won in Le Havre a couple of weeks ago, who took first place in the competition with 96.50 points. He was ahead of local rider Kaine Mitchell, who delighted his fans, and Liverpool-born Mike Hullock. In the Women's category, it was the talented Sasha Pardoe who set the crowd alight with her wildest tricks! She beat 12-year-old Morris Esme and Kayley Ashworth.
In addition to the BMX Freestyle Park finals, the Scooter Freestyle Park riders and the B-boys and B-girls kicked off the competition on Saturday before Sunday's finals. Despite the capricious weather, the vast majority of the scooter competitions were able to go ahead, and that's a good thing because American Claire Parks made the special trip to Wolverhampton less than 24 hours after being crowned champion at the World Skate Games in Italy. She won again on Sunday, being the first rider to pass the box in transfer in nothing front scoot to whip before following up with a perfect run, full of amplitude and technique. In the Men's category, after a competition followed by an improvised Best Tricks, Sam Rance won the English leg with just one run on the counter, ahead of Noah Tiller and Brandon Tang who completed the podium.
Last but not least, the atmosphere at the Breaking was at its peak on Sunday, with a large number of B-boys and B-girls coming to compete in high-level Battles! In front of a crowd that was more motivated than ever, it was B-girl Stefani who came out on top in the Women 1vs1 Battles and B-boy Sheku in the Men 1vs1. And the B-girl didn't stop there, winning the 2vs2 Battle with B-boy Hiro10, who took part in the Paris Olympics this summer.
