Some words about the judging (By Daniel Fuhrmann):

The members of the judge were Frank Lukas, Michael Steingräber and Daniel Fuhrmann (me).

We used a judgesystem which is similar to olympics game. That means that we show the score directly after the run to the rider. Every judge could chose between 1.0 - 9.9 points.

At the end Alex Jumelin and Viki Gomez just got the same score.

Alex Jumelin had a no touch run and Viki Gomez pulled the longest and super high technical lines and just had one little touch.

The judge was thinking about to do a final battle or something else to decide which one was better but everyone was happy even with the result that Alex and Viki both got first place. BMX is freestyle and everyone is happy so why should not exist two first places at this case. :-) That's why the judge decide that two 1st place is the best result in this situation.
