We also crowned the overall Recon Tour Point leaders this past weekend at THE UNIT. It came down to the wire, but Colton Walker came out on top as the overall Recon Tour Champion and earned himself another $5,000 and the Movietickets.com best trick award with the worlds first twix double whip. Close behind was Daniel Sandoval from Norco, CA earning $3,000 and Nick Bruce right behind him earning $2,000. These athletes were consistent throughout the series and proved why they are the 2015 overall Recon Tour Champions.
This unique contest series gives amateurs the opportunity to progress by competing with pros at the highest level of the game and gives them a chance to make a name for themselves in the sport. Each amateur rider had the same goal: win one of the six
AM Recon Tour open class events to earn paid travel to the Recon Tour Final and compete for the overall Recon Tour AM Championship alongside the best pro riders in the world. Jeremy Malott from Lake Havasu City, AZ placed the highest out of the amateurs in the contest and received the title of the 2015 AM Champion. With this win Jeremy now becomes the third amateur 
rider to move up to the PRO ranking and continue to make a name for himself.

The Final Monster Army Recon Tour PRO event presented by Mongoose Bikes took place this past weekend at THE UNIT in Greenville, NC. twenty five of the best BMX athletes from around the world along with six AM Finalists from prior Recon Tour events all came together at one of the best BMX Parks ever built.
