BMX Dirt Riders Hyped for Red Bull Dreamline
For only the third time, Adam Aloise and the Red Bull Dreamline course build crew have erected a fantasyland of dirt jumps, creating a one-of-a-kind contest course that BMX riders both dream about and slightly fear at the same time. The 2014 event will happen near Asheville, North Carolina this week, and the riders are all foaming with anticipation, eager to get their tires on the dirt.
In the video above, several of the competitors talk about Dreamline during a local trail session, referencing the massive jumps and the feeling of tearing through the downhill course for the first time.
"Probably some of the tallest jumps I've ever jumped in my life," says Mike "Hucker" Clark. "The biggest trails you could imagine, but on steroids. [During] your first run, you're just terrified because you don't know what's actually going to happen."
