DISCIPLINE: BMX Street. The street competition features simple, raw street elements such as stairs, concrete rails and ledges, and air elements such as street style gaps. In Round One, 12 riders will each take two runs with their best score determining ranking. The top six advance to the final. In the final, each rider takes three runs with their best score determining final ranking. Judging is be based on the overall impression of an athlete’s run.

ATHLETE: Dennis Enarson

ACCOMPLISHMENT: Opening the day’s competition at Austin's Circuit of the Americas, Dennis Enarson finished third in the BMX Street final - just under two points

behind gold medalist Garrett Reynolds - to earn his sixth career X Games medal.

QUOTE: “Today was sick!” Enarson said. “This course was actually a little small for all of us and we didn’t think it was going to be the craziest contest, but it’s X Games, everyone pulled through and it ended up being one of the craziest contests after all!”
