It was hot in Austin when the street comp was held. Last year's gold medalist Chad Kerley messed up his first qualifying run but came back with a perfect second run up until the last ten seconds. Chad did not transfer to the finals. In the finals Dakota Roche did the run of the day with a huge 180 gap drop. He was in first until Garrett Reynolds (who was sitting in fourth) nailed his run and got another gold. Dennis Enarson finished third, just a fraction of a point behind Dakota.
