It's hot in Trinidad but the day had come to kick things off at the Trevlon Hall BMX Exams. Trevlon is a flatland rider from Trinidad who managed to get together $86,000.= USD in prize money for the event which, as you guessed it, attracted a whole bunch of flatland and park riders to come to his island. With things being a bit loose organisation wise, things got on its way with Am flat qualifying, followed by Pro flatland qualifying. Then, after spending 10 hours at the course in the sun, the park riders were told they were going to have straight

finals the next day. Whatever. Everything's pretty loose but people get to experience a new country and, the prize money is right! The pro flatland riding is on another level. So many killer riders are here. Most of them had a good run, and a bad run. With the average over two runs being the final score, 12 riders made it in the final, meaning they are sure of making over $1000,= USD each even if they finish last.
We'll be back with a full report at some point. For now, enjoy a few pics.
