It's that time of the year again when you can't just go outside to ride the park, the mini or the trails. Flatland riders usually end up in the indoor parking lot but if you want to ride ramps, there are only a few places to go, if you are lucky. The Dutch BMX freestyle scene has been fortunate to have 040BMX park in Eindhoven and in return, the BMX riders have supported the park which was set up by
Pim and
Klaas van den Bos. Pim and the volunteers of the park thought it was time to give back to the BMX riders who had come over session after session to ride. Some even take more than 3 hour train rides (single trip) to get to Eindhoven to be able to ride the foam, the resi, the box, wooden bowl, XS section and everything in between.
Last Saturday BMX riders could ride for free, they got something to drink and they got a free Hamburger off the BBQ. On top of that everyone had the opportunity to see MOOON live on stage.

It wasn't surprising to see many familiar faces at Strijp-S on Saturday. The 040BMX team itself is strong base for good BMX stunts.
Kenneth Tancre had made it from Belgium to do Superflips on the box.
Paul Thoelen from Germany has flipwhips down and does 360 DS-whips with no hesitation. He's got some big news coming up on December 9th by the way.... Other 040BMX Team member
Tom van den Boogaard snapped his brake cable but that didn't stop him from going huge. Maybe it even helped as he could not slow down. Tom did
Aitken/Doyle style 360 lookbacks to the roof.
Nicky van der Veen has brought back some tricks and is stoked on hi

s new ride with Radio Bikes. He feels solid on the bike and you can tell.
Channon Balorian did flips down the step-up which takes perfection even without doing any move. Many riders have landed on the flat bottom before front wheel first.
Shanice Silva Cruz was also present as were many others who simply enjoyed a good session together.
After five hours of riding (17:00 - 22:00hr) the day was ended with a live band. The three cousins rocked the house. You haven't heard the last tune from MOOON yet. Thanks to Pim, Klaas and the rest of the 040BMXPARK crew. We will meet again this winter.
