The BMX Dirt Final wrapped up the day in Civic Center Plaza, with Kyle Baldock pulling out all the stops to take the win. He landed a trick never before seen in a competition final – a front flip barspin tuck no-hander – on the last jump of his last run. His runs included a 360 flip, front flip tailwhip and 360 double downside whip.“Last year, I was a bit eager, trying to get it done,” said Baldock. “I went out too strong. This year, I took my time, watched people, and tried to get in a good position. It’s amazing to come back to San Francisco. I love this place.”
The Dew Tour Toyota City Championships continues tomorrow with BMX and Skate Streetstyle on Harrison St. and the FMX Triple Threat contest in front of City Hall. Dew Tour Community Day invites local fans to enjoy the interactive Dew Tour Experience and skate the Dew Tour street course.
