“Ghetto Games” the second international street culture and sports festival has successfully come to an end. During the event, top athletes were challenged in different sports, including inline skating, BMX freestyle, street workout, wakeboarding, MTB freestyle and many others. This year the international "Ghetto Games" festival was held in the city of Ventspils for four consecutive days. During these four days athletes representing 18 different sports disciplines showed their skills to both guests and those residing in Ventspils.
The different events and sports this year included: arm-wrestling, BMX freestyle, inline skating, street basketball, street workout, street dance, street floorball, streetbike freestyle, longboarding, MTB freestyle, skateboarding, skateboard slalom, skimboarding, wakeboarding, bike polo, bike trials, and others.
BMX freestyle international top rider and winner of € 1,000 was taken by Andres Lainevool from Tartu, Estonia. Second place went to Ola Selsjord of Oslo, Norway, third - Adrian Malmberg from Sweden. Fourth place was Norway's Ole Andre Kristiansen leaving Latvian representative Oskars Zajarskis in fifth place.
Stefan Pauli from Germany proved to be the best in BMX freestyle „dirt“ discipline. Second and third place was Latvian riders - Karlis Dzerve and Oskars Abele.
