The Fise Experience series landed in Anglet, France this weekend. A park course and mini ramp were set up close to the beach for another stop of the Xperience series. While skateboarders used the park course, the mini ramp was used for the BMX competition. As usual a bunch of pro riders were brought in to make sure the pro riding was up to par. The imported pro riders came from the UK mainly with names as
Luke Padgett, Mathew Hodges, Jason Clarke, Jack Watts, and
Jack Clark. But the level of the French riders ain't bad either as flairs, 360-s over the spine and whips have become standard tricks in any pro BMX class.
To create the perfect vibe the contest took place at night. The six light balloons made sure the riders knew where to go on the pitch black ramp, which had a box on one side and a spine in the

middle. The giant deck on the opposite side was big enough to accomodate all riders that entered the comp.
Sometimes the qualifying results end up being used as the final results. Unfortunately that was the case in Anglet. Note to riders, never hold back in qualifying at outdoor events.
Jack Clark doesn't, he's got so much energ

y that he could ride for hours on end. By riding so much he has learnt more tricks than anybody else on the mini which gave him first place.
Jack Watts is a youngster who's already mixing it up in pro class. The 15 year old rider from Portsmouth even throws in an X-factor
at times and ended up in second place in qualifying which meant he got to go home with

a giant 2nd place FISE check.
Istvan Caillet sure goes big. His flairs are insanely high and he even went for a 720 over the spine. It must be hard spotting the black landing in pitch dark but he got back up, adjusted his handlebars and rode some more. KHE's
Luke Padgett got fourth. He pulled a doublewhip tailtap in the session on the miniramp and whips to footjam, does high flairs and tables. Solid style.
Jean Jean Anthony is one of those young guns from France who will be making it to the top of the class soon. He did barspins to manual to barspin in on the extension which, for a 14 year old is crazy. Keep an eye on those red jeans in the fu
ture.
The comp was casual with
riders getting their turns to ride the mini and show what they got. The cr

owd dug it even though it was 23:00hr at night. With DSP as a sponsor the vibe only gets better after a
few beers. As indicated before, unfortunately the finals got rained out so the qualification results were final. It was good to be there for that.
