The Olympic Games for BMX officially start today with the Time Trials. At 18:30hr CET Germany's Nadja Pries has the honour to kick it off with her lap against the clock that will determine her spot in the motos the next day and her spot behind the gate. Getting on the inside is always an advantage so setting a fast time today in the Time Trials will help, at least in the first moto. The girls have a day off tomorrow as they go straight into the semi-finals on Friday. The boys will race quarters on Thursday and Semis and final on Friday just like the girls.
