It's slated to be one of the biggest days for BMX in 2016: On Saturday night, June 11th in Chula Vista, Ca., the National Hall of Fame will induct six new legends of the sport into the famed hall. All of this will take place just hours after the U.S. BMX Olympic Trials where the second U.S. Athlete to represent the United States will be decided! Known to the BMX world as Pedalin' Lee Medlin, this year's Pioneer

Long time International BMXer, Laëtitia Le Corguillé has announced her retirement from BMX Racing and won't get a chance to participate to her third Olympic games... and retires from the sport... Laëtitia suffered a serious foot injury, Sunday at the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Manchester, UK while making a run at her third Olympics and has ended what has been one of the longest and most successful Elite Women's BMX careers in the sport.
In her own words "I took a while to give news of my ankle because yesterday afternoon was hard to take ... after all, I have a broken calcaneus (heel bone): 2 large fracture above. This is very bad news because even if all goes well, my foot must remain immobilized for 3 months without contact of the heel on the floor ... three months on crutches. It is the end of season for me. I hoped also to finish my career on a high note at the Olympic Games (even if the qualification was not certain yet ). This will not be the case.
