2020 has been, well, different. When did Covid-19 turn up and start influencing your business?
Paul de Jong: I closed the shop on March 14 when the first Covid-19 Lockdown was announced in the Netherlands and haven’t been open on regular times since then.
Did you take any action from the start or were you thinking this would be over in a few weeks?
Paul de Jong: I already knew it was for the long haul so in the beginning I didn’t order any new parts in Taiwan but for the rest it was business like usual.
Now, being in this situation for many months, how did you manage to keep your business rolling?
It's not everyday that you get a Rooftop edit. The prolific video part rider rides spots of all shapes, sizes, and depths, in what he specifically calls an edit (not a video part) to promo his signature Caveman V2 from United. All hail Rooftop!
We've been flowing our boy Mikey "Milky" Andrew some parts through Vans Bicycle Center in Reno for awhile, and he has been progressing at an alarming rate. It's to the point now, where he is so good, we have no choice but to present the first official release of his riding for your viewing pleasure!
After 3 years dealing with Anorexia, being too weak & cold to ride my bike. I'm proud of what acomplished in 2020. During the last 20 months, I've gained 2 pants sizes, happiness, strenght & motivation to ride my bike.
Before delivering all the kids presents, Santa just wanted to ride his bike. I bet Santa would trade in his sled for that white mustang.
