The traditional contest was held at Savela freestyle park in Helsinki, Finland on Saturday August 24th. This contest has roots from an early 2000. It's been somewhat the main event of a year in freestyle BMX in Finland. The event has gone through with a lot of different names, but the basics have been the same. There has always been foreign riders visiting even though it's called Finnish Championship. We're not that strict, it's only BMX, right? This year's event was also a Road To Simple Session 14. So three of the best Finnish riders got an invitation to ride at Simple Session 14 next winter. 15 and under group had riders from a beginner with a first contest to a better rider with a flow sponsors already
