NBC Sports presents the second-annual China Invitational this Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET. Headlining the event from Beijing are some of the world's best action sports stars from skateboard and BMX. After a large fan turnout for the inaugural China Invitational last year, the 2009 edition moved to Beijing University of Technology's indoor Gymnasium, the popular table tennis venue at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. Close your eyes for a minute. Make that five minutes. Tough, isn't it? It's been 17 months since BMX judge/rider Mike Vincent got into an accident and was left blind. His mother and friends have tried everything to get his sight back which lead Mike and Debbie to China where they are right now hoping for that mirracle to restore his vision. Mike is a BMX dude like all of us and could use support in any way. Here's an update from his mom straight out of China:

Today at 4:25 p.m. (we're 12 hrs. ahead of the U.S. east coast) they wheeled Michael upstairs to the Operating Room for his first of the next six spinal infusions. I walked along side his bed to the elevator, then had to say goodbye, good luck and that I love him. I was teary eyed as I've seen him whisked away many times over the last 17 months. I sat down and prayed, asking the Lord to take charge.

At 5:00 p.m. they were wheeling him back to the room! He said

The fifth annual Tour Dur Laarbeek is about to take place. On Sunday 14 June next riders from all over the place will meet up at the first miniramp of the day in Mariahout, Netherlands at noon. The schedule has three more miniramps to be ridden that day. After the 5 meter wide 6 feet tall mini in Mariahout it's off to the hipped mini in Lieshout, 5 kilometers down the road. Stop two will take place there at 14h00. After wrapping up a full on BMX/skateboard and inline (they still exist?) contest in Bavaria town, it's off to the spine ramp in Beek en Donk (16h00). Riders collect points at each stop so when the circus arrives in Aarle-Rixtel for the last stop, the heat is on. The finals there start at 18h00 on the miniramp with the extension where the locals have been riding tons to make the home advantage count. Registration starts at 11h30 at the minramp in Mariahout ("city center") and is open to anyone. The prize givings will take place in OJA in Aarle-Rixtel. Ride four miniramps in one day. Sounds fun?
