When it comes to naming core BMX brands Bicycle Union should undoubtedly be amongst the top of anyone's list. With a rich history in BMX and some of the greats like Scott Malyon, Chris Doyle and Jerry Galley repping over the years you know that with Bicycle Union you get what you get, proper BMX parts from a proper BMX company.
Main man John Dye has been a well known name in UK BMX since he first got on one back in the early 80's, and he is still a highly respected member of the scene, not only being the head honcho of Bicycle Union, but running his own BMX shop 'VOLT BMX' since 2009 in London, a true rider owned rider run BMX shop.
"By just doing BMX, we can put all our heart into it." - John Dye
In recent times Bicycle Union have come out with some great media in the form of 'Zines and Podcasts, more commonly know as the Union Tapes. These both cover in depth history of all things BMX and get close and personal with the guys that were actually there in the Golden Era. The most recent one featuring none other than earlier mentioned legend Scott Malyon.
Subrosa pro rider Matt Ray and Jiri Blabol hook up an Extension Kit to a Subrosa Street Rail and take it to a B-Ball court for a heated afternoon session.
It took 26 years, but Chris Doyle is doing Doyle things on an S&M again, and suddenly the universe just makes a little more sense. Full Circle. Full Shield. Welcome to the team Chris!
Matt Nordstrom melts minds on the regular and his F-IT ALL section is no exception.

Through the UCI I've been lucky enough to be present at the UCI BMX Racing World Cups. With previous rounds over the years happening closer to home in Belgium, England, Italy, France, Netherlands, and Sweden, we now made it over to Bogota, Colombia. The 05:10am alarm clock gave me 20 minutes to get ready to leave the house for the 10 minute walk to the nearest train station at Helmond-Brandevoort. In Eindhoven I switched trains to Utrecht where the announcement came that a defect train was on the rails in between Utrecht and Amsterdam-Centraal. Luckily enough the train to Schiphol wasn't affected by it so I made it to the airport at 07:27hr, in time for the 10:10hr departure on the straight flight to the city of Bogota.
