The Dew Tour kicks off the 2015 season this weekend by bringing the world's best skateboard and BMX athletes to Chicago, Ill., for two days of competition, June 20-21. NBC Sports Group will present four hours of coverage on NBC and more than 10 hours across NBC Sports Live Extra and DewTour.com. Coverage begins Saturday June 20 at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
Saturday night at Park West ( 322 West Armitage, Chicago, IL 60614) hip hop mc Logic will headline a night of music presented by the Dew Tour. The Maryland born rapper broke onto the scene in 2014 with the release of UNDER PRESSURE, which was hailed as one of the best hip-hop albums of the year. These past few weeks I did a couple of races. The first one was a 3 Nations Cup in Ahnatal, Germany. This is a race between Holland, Belgium and Germany (3 Nations), but it’s open for everybody. A small group of fast guys showed up at this race, so it was a nice competition. I felt good on the track, but had some struggles with the starting gate. My buddy Martijn Jaspers got the holeshot. I was in 3rd position when Jordy vd Heijden crashed in the first turn. Luckily I could just avoid the crash, but I lost some speed so a Danish guy passed me.
