UCI BMX SX World Cup Champs will be crowned in Rock Hill. Phillips and Pajon favourite to win titles.
Pressure is on for those riders heading to Rock Hill this weekend for the final round of the UCI BMX SX World Cup. The last stop of the year will be an interesting one, especially in the Women class. Mariana Pajon (COL) is leading, but by just a small margin over home favourite Alise Post (USA) who wants to turn this lead around by the end of Saturday evening when the champions are crowned. Still within reach are 2015 UCI BMX Elite Women world champion Stefany Hernandez (VEN) and last year's UCI BMX SX World Cup champion Caroline Buchanan (AUS). If Alise wins the race, she'll win the title. If Mariana wins, she wins the cup. If Hernandez wins and Pajon finishes 3rd or worse, the title will go to Venezuela.
The last World Cup SX race to be held at the multi million dollar BMX facility in South Carolina will be the deciding round.
