The BMX community is pretty awesome. We have it good. We can grab the bike and go for a session with friends. We can ride different spots and when we're done, we take a shower, get some food and sleep in a decent bad. But not everyone on this planet is in the same situation. There are kids out there who grow up in a war zone. They don't have a bike, don't have spots to ride, barely have something to eat and they'll have to wait and see if their home doesn't get bombed at night. 3FM Serious Request is an organization that helps out these kids in many ways and December generally is the month that money gets collected. As a school project Max Cleuren decided to have a Serious Request BMX Jam at 040BMXPARK. On a Friday evening the park entry fees, burgers, donations, and money collected by the auction was donated for this year's Serious Request charity. To make the evening a bit different than the usual riding session, two-man teams from Belgium, Germany and Holland had a little team competition going. Belgium was represented by Brent Minne and Kenneth Tancré.
