Summer X Games is off to a great start! Monster Energy congratulates its BMX, Moto X, and skateboard athletes on a strong performance at X Games California 2023 so far. On the first day of competitions inside Ventura County Fairgrounds & Events Center, 28-year-old Kevin Peraza from Tucson, Arizona, took home the gold medal in BMX Street in front of a stoked crowd. Also rising to the podium, 27-year-old Boyd Hilder from Queensland, Australia, claimed silver in BMX Street.
Also contested at the SloanYard, the Monster Energy BMX MegaPark event on Monday saw 32-year-old Jaie Toohey from Lake Munmorah, Australia, advancing to the podium with a bronze-medal finish.
Supported by Monster Energy as the official energy drink partner, X Games California 2023 marks the 68th edition of X Games since the contest’s inception in 1995. From July 16 to July 23, the world’s leading action sports showcase features 135 elite athletes from 20 countries competing in 21 medal events for 63 medals across BMX, motocross, and skateboarding disciplines.

It was in sunny Brussels on Sunday that the top international riders competed in the finals the third round of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park). The athletes set the ramps on fire for explosive Men's & Women's finals, and it is the Frenchman Anthony JEANJEAN, already crowned last year in Brussels, and the Chinese Huimin ZHOU, first at FISE Montpellier, who won.
With 2 stratospheric runs full of amplitude, Anthony JEANJEAN confirmed his number 1 ranking in Brussels and delighted the audience with his tricks such as a 720 bar, a triple whip backflip and a double back flip. His final score was 92.56 pts, ahead of Japan's Rimu NAKAMURA (91.56 pts) and Australia's Logan MARTIN (89.41 pts).
Semi-final day in Brussels for the third round of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park) ! Despite irregular weather in the early afternoon, the competition was back on track at the end of the day for the Men's Semi-final. Women's Semi-final therefore becomes a 24-rider final, to be held this Sunday, July 9, from 9.30 to 11.45am, followed by Men's Final from 12.15 to 1.45 pm.

The third round of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park) kicked off in Brussels this Thursday! After Diriyah in Saudi Arabia and Montpellier in France, it's in the heart of Brussels' favourite park, Josaphat Park, that the best international riders gather. On this qualifying day, the riders put on a show in front of festival-goers to try and consolidate or improve their positions in the overall UCI World Cup standings and to score points towards Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualification.
