The Vans BMX Pro Cup made it to Stuttgart, Germany this past weekend. Paul and I flew in on Friday afternoon to catch the regional qualifier. The talent there was huge already and the 4-weeks old park in Waiblingen, near Stuttgart was treated with rubber marks all day. The highest placed riders could join the Pro Cup qualification round the next day. Madona (BRA) took top honours followed by Zdenda Pesek (CZE) and Jay Dalton (USA). The park in Waiblingen was turned into a small festival area with food trucks, merchandise stands, drinking area, grandstands to watch the contest from, judging tower with DJ and MC’s and a friends and family area with Vans sit sacks and beach chairs. The event promotion had done its job as the place was packed all weekend with BMX fans. It’s great to see
