Found myself in the UK last week for a one-off (maybe?) of the BMX Triple Challenge event. Literally landed in London, drove to the event, and then the crew decided the wind was too heavy and we drove to Corby, England, to Adrenaline Alley for a session that was, as you'd expect, not your average session. The wind persisted the following day and most people were pretty stressed about jumping a 30 foot double for the first time with a 20mph headwind, but surprisingly, a decent amount of riding went down.
London connect Billy Cooper has been quietly working on his latest offering, roaming the streets of London with Tonash. Watch for over 3 minutes of solid London street riding.
The jumps are massive, they're kind of spread too far apart, and there's still some headwind causing problems, but 15 riders definitely went in to make it into the finals. For those about to go buck in the comments, this was a bit of a last minute event thrown alongside the Moto GP in the UK, so just appreciate the fact that there's something in the works.
With the volume of amazing riding that has come out of the indoor parks in Scotland you'd be forgiven for thinking it'd be hard to come up with new riding for them. But Rory McLean's approach brings a uniquely fresh set of eyes and an original style like no other. Shot over the winter at Unit23, The Loading Bay and Shred, we are proud to bring you 'Rory McLean - Progressive'.
When you talk about productivity in BMX, the name Felix Prangenberg has to be right towards the top of the list - this guy never stops putting out mind-blowing and ultra progressive riding on the regular. This 8 minute beast is yet another absolute jaw dropper. Sit back and soak it all in. BMX is lucky to have this guy.
