We're in Saudi Arabia! The FISE crew is hosting an event in Jeddah. The course is together and the riders are getting acquainted to it - along with the heat and the culture. Check out what's running through the minds of Daniel Dhers, Catfish, Colton Walker, Daniel Sandoval, Nick Bruce, and more!
Three days of competition launched in Chengdu, China’s Nan Hu Park today as the fourth and final stop of the FISE World Tour opened its doors for a weekend of LIVE action sports. Followed by 1 million spectators worldwide, the festival will wrap up its 20th season here in Chengdu before a curious, highly-enthusiastic crowd.
“They smile, they’re happy…So for the riders, it’s fun because we discover a new type of person,” said Alex Jumelin, the only rider who has been with FISE since its inception. Staging a demonstration of Flatland BMX Friday afternoon, Jumelin said no one could have predicted where FISE would wind up two decades after it launched on the beachfront French town of Montpellier.
Kostya Andreev has to join the Russian Army, Nick Bruce knows how to ask for kisses in Chinese, Brandon Loupos dresses like a golfer, Pat Casey loves the capsule, Colton Walker almost loops out on 720s, Logan Martin is scared of pollution, and everyone that lives here is strange. Xièxiè!

Professional extreme sports riders on bikes, blades and boards from all corners of the globe have joined together at the BudaPart - Kopaszi Gát park to showcase their skills and mix with local and regional riders at the inaugural FISE Budapest World Action Sports Festival. Qualifications began for amateur and pro competitors this morning on three different stages: Wakesurf and Wakeboarders cruising on the Danube River, BMX Flat riders and Skateboarders finessing tricks on the flatland platform, and the Roller and BMX Freestylers boosting on the gigantic ramp course. Budapest spectators both young and old who flocked to the park throughout the day were able to see some world-class athletes perform technical tricks, with even bigger runs to come.
FISE World in Montpellier is a contest about the crowd. And that goes for flatland as well. The grass bank is completely filled up when the finals take place and they see Canada's Jean-William Prevost take the win from the Frenchies. Matthias Dandois holds on for second place while Benjamin Hudson from Santiago, Chile steps on the podium for spot number 3. First place qualifier Alex Jumelin couldn't hold it together and gets 5th right behind multiple world champion Viki Gomez.
