Michal Prokop wins all the heats and the finals. A great race of the American Jill Kintner
The weather was awful at Pila (Italy), for the 4Cross World Cup race, that took place in violent rainfalls, cold temperature and even the fog. In spite of the weather, many people were there to watch an amazing show.
The absolute protagonist was Czech
Michal Prokop, who dominated all the heats, semi-final and the final. Last year's World Cup winner was so excited he even left behind American
Brian Lopes, the World Cup leader. The Czech started very fast and never left the lead. Lopes tried until the very end to get his bike ahead, but the rhythm was very fast and the risk of falling because of the mud was too high. Obviously, Lopes looked ahead to the World Cup that still belongs to him. The winning trio was completed by
Cedric Garcia.
