Today the KNWU announces its latest addition to the technical staff: former professional rider Theo Bos will become the new national coach of the BMX Racing selection as of January 1, 2025. With five world titles, an Olympic medal, and thirty-seven professional victories, Theo Bos can look back on an impressive career on and off the track. At the end of 2021, he ended his active professional career for the next step, this time as a coach. He spent two and a half years in China and successfully trained the Chinese track cyclists. Now he is back in the Netherlands and ready for a new challenge.
Theo is looking forward to his new job with great ambition and enthusiasm: “I really enjoyed the role of coach and I learned a lot from my time on the court in China.
