As of 2022, BMX JETT has broken new ground in terms of development and guidance of ambitious talented riders. Where the approach was (and is) to work with talented riders from to train together at national and international level in order to grow and strengthen each other, we put for 2022 a logical next step, in our opinion. First of all, two very talented riders have been added to the team with effect from 2022. These are Brian van Eeuwijk and Teun Kivit. These two riders are no strangers to most insiders of the BMX world. They have achieved many good results at both national and international level in recent years. We are therefore very happy that Teun and Brian have confidence in BMX JETT and in the path we have taken.
To put even more emphasis on the quality, development and guidance of our riders, we started a collaboration agreement with Jelle van Gorkom and Gerfred Greveling. Jelle van Gorkom has practiced this sport at the highest level for over 20 years, culminating in 2016 a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio. Jelle will be head coach of the team starting from January 2022. He will take the first steps as a coach and trainer of a BMX team. Jelle will meet daily with the riders, and will train and coach them during competitions and is responsible for the annual programme.
Enjoy the rad, really rad, really really rad radness of Mike D. riding my halfpipe back in the day.
Daniel Juritsch keeping it fun and simple on the streets of Austria.
December proved that the underground is alive and thriving in the Midwest. Event's like BMXmas don't happen every weekend, but when they do, we get excited. December also included a trip to rays with some special guests, and the Grand Re-Opening of The Warehouse.
Really happy on how this came out thanks to everyone that filmed and helped me make this :)

35 years of covering the BMX scene: 1987 - 2022 FAT! ISSUE 00. The official start of FAT was in 1987. It's 2022 now. That makes it 35 years of covering the BMX scene trying to make it bigger and better for everyone to enjoy. Find the info on issue 00 below and then flip through every page by hitting the link at the very bottom. We're starting off with issue zero here which was fueled by the fact that a Dutch BMX magazine (Trickx) started putting more racing and international freestyle riders in their magazine instead of the Dutch riders.
That's actually where the name comes from: Freestylers Against Trickx (FAT). It wasn't a goal or plan to make a total of 34 issues but after issue 00 came out the Dutch scene wanted more. Anyway, the "Try-MAG!!!" is mostly in Dutch but that will change soon in the issues to come.
It all started in 1987 and we were young and stupid. There were no computers in sight and the internet had to be invented for most of us. Markers, scissors, photocopies, rulers, the typewriter, these were the things you had to slap a 'zine together.
Compared to now the quality was shit but at least you had something in your hands that you could relate to.
Issue 00 already had a free sticker page. It actually came with two free stickers; one of the Freestyle
