Halloween jams seemed to be popular in the BMX community last weekend. Many clips showed up on the net and many Facebook posts involved people dressed up riding bikes. It's a chance for the regular BMX-er to go crazy and have an even better time. At 040BMX the Halloween opportunity was used to throw another event to keep the already happening park even more happening. Without much expectations head honcho Pim van den Bos and his crew made a flyer and called for madness at 040BMXPARK in Eindhoven.UCI BMX World Championships provides Rotterdam €3,7 million. The event in Ahoy Rotterdam receives a rating of 8,2.

On behalf of the Royal Dutch Cycling Union (KNWU) BMX Holland organized, in cooperation with the city of Rotterdam the UCI BMX World Championships in ‘Sportpaleis Ahoy Rotterdam’, 23 to 27 July 2014. These BMX Worlds attracted 32.000 visitors to Ahoy Rotterdam. 60% of the 32.000 visitors came from abroad, 4% from Rotterdam and 36% from the Netherlands.
