Having a World Cup race after the Olympics doesn't necessarily add extra pressure to the event. Qualification points aren't on the line and next to the World Cup points, there is not much extra to race for. The UCI BMX SX World Cup in Sarasota, Florida brought many riders together simply because racing is what they want to do. The Sarasota track has seen some changes in its 43 years of existence.
