Madera is family, so when the TM wanted to plan a trip for 2017, he made sure it would be a place where almost everyone associated with Madera could meet up and shred. It just so happens that the place he picked, Minneapolis, is chocked full of spots as well.

You’re probably most familiar with Leandro Moreira riding dirt, but the dude can shred whatever you put in front of him. After recently building up a new GT Brian Kachinsky Signature Globetrotter frame, Leandro took it for a spin at an indoor park and did a quick bike check as well. A trail boss riding the signature frame of a street legend on some ramps… an all around bike for an all around bad-ass rider.
Tom Dugan is known for treating his audience to epic bicycle motocross entertainment, but when a recent mishap at the Vans BMX Pro Cup meant donning a cast, we figured shooting a promo for Tom's 2018 DUGAN SIGNATURE complete was off the table. Tom really wanted everyone to know how sick his new sig is though, so we told him to meet us at the park and that we'd shoot some footy of him letting everyone know his 21.25"TT complete was LSD and came in a killer Trans Gold etc. etc.

After a morning filled with enthusiasm and impressive riding from the amateurs, things started to get serious once the pros stepped in: BMX Flat Pro - Final. The pro finals kicked off with BMX Flat, in a filled-up amphitheater that brought up a notch the riders' energy on stage.
We knew the battle for the two first places would be a hard one, with names like Jean-William Prévost and Matthias Dandois as contenders. Prévost, happy to ride in home turf, once again blew our minds with technical, original tricks that are his signature, but very slight mistakes made him unable to beat his rival, Matthias Dandois. Nevertheless, the second place that Prévost reached today gave him
UCI BMX Freestyle Park Finals. One of the most awaited event of the weekend was, of course, the UCI BMX Freestyle Park finals. The windy conditions yesterday played a big part in building a feeling of anticipation, and both crowd and riders were ready for a big day of finals. Mother Nature was trying to shake things off again, bringing winds averaging 23 km/h but the determination of the riders to complete their competition was stronger than the possible doubts in their minds.
Expectations were high for Brandon Loupos, after his win in FISE Budapest. Digging deep for stamina and big tricks, he was certainly putting a lot of pressure on his competitors. Not phased at all by the wind, he gave a great performance for the crowd and judges, lacing together tricks of high amplitude,
