In December 2014, I got an email from George (Manos) asking me if I would like to send a few clips to the skateboarding group known as BA.KU. (Barrier Kult) as they offered to feature some clips of H E R E S Y riders in the friends section of their upcoming DVD. Being in contact for some time and having mutual respect for what we both do, some of us filmed a few moves in 2015 and sent the material. I had been willing to experiment with some lighting for some time and thought this was the chance to do something I had not done before with video. It was not about capturing rare tricks but just playing with lighting versus obscurity and spending a few hours one night by myself in a remote 2500 square meters warehouse on top of a hill, switching all lights off except for a halo. In the end, this footage didn't make it into the BA.KU. DVD so here it is. HALO.

We made an obstacle course to ride BMX bikes through a house! you start on the front lawn and ride through the house out the back door and into his backyard skatepark where all the amazing ramps are! three riders compete against each other toes who can get through the course the furthest without messing up!

Well I've been wanting to make a Aussie BMX DVD for the past 4 years! And I've always had an excuse, or a web video thats distracted me! I'm quickly running out of time on the dead line I gave my self, with work, life and other excuses all getting squeezed in to this last couple of months.... Im hoping to get this done!! After a successful inaugural year in 2017, X Games returns to Minneapolis with the world’s top action sports competition in Skateboard, BMX and Moto, and world-class musical performances from Kaskade, Brother Ali, Ice Cube and Zedd (in order of appearance). The action sports competitions will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium, while all four musical performances will take place at the GEICO music stage at the Commons Park, located just outside U.S. Bank Stadium. Once again, the Skateboard and BMX Vert events on Thursday, July 19, will be free and open to the public. X Fest will also be free to the public on Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m.
