Felix Prangenberg just won BMX Street @ Simple Session 2019. Congratulations! Here's what he threw down.
Another year packed full of travels, riding, new spots, new tricks and some slams. Enjoy some of the best footy selected by Darryl Tocco from last years missions!
For my 20th year anniversary of documenting BMX I wanted to make a video using my first ever digital video camera (from 1998) All of this footage was captured during various 2018 riding sessions. 1998 - 2018 - 2098.
A first visit to the course for our team riders. Looking forward to another awesome year in Tallinn at Simple Session 19!
Primeras eliminatorias de BMX street en el simple session, estas fueron las pasadas de nuestros riders de Colombia, Andres Ochoa y Santiago Laverde.
"After nearly 10 years in Austin, TX Clint and his family now call New Paltz, NY home. We have all seen the haven he has built for himself up there, which came from nothing but his sheer drive and determination to dive into the unknown head first. Although this wonderland he has built seems to be the only thing most of us could dream of, the winters where it is situated don't provide the greatest outdoor riding conditions. We'll miss his presence here in Austin but we can take comfort in the fact that he will be back to visit and quite often too. This footage is from just a few of the great sessions that went down while he was visiting his home away from home last April. Enjoy!" - Ashley Charles / Relic BMX
Brock Horneman was the first Australian to ever join Monster Army. Now the Aussie rider has moved to England to continue riding and traveling. Get to know his story and watch for what's to come with this BMX Major here.
Name shop: Rampfest Indoor Skate Park
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Years in business: 10 years open, I’ve owned it for the last 5 years (I’m the 3rd owner of the park)
Employees: 8-10
I want to add a little preface to this - we aren’t a pure BMX Shop - we’re an indoor skate park mainly, with a shop attached to it. The park has been around for 10 years, I’ve owned if for the last 5. It always had a shop attached, but since my own thing is BMX, I guess the BMX Shop side just grew naturally since I’ve been there. So I think my take on local scene, retail etc is a little bit different to most.
Did you ever go to school to learn how to run a BMX business or did you just 'send it'?
Rampfest: I started in business pretty small - got involved with running events for my local council,
Kareem runs down some highlights from Simple Session 19! Who wants to see Kareem there next year?
