Saturday 17 June Pro BMX riders will meet up in Eindhoven, Netherlands for the second edition of the 040 BMX Invitational, a Spine Miniramp contest held in the city centre. The 040BMXPARK Spine Ramp will be built up at the 18 Septemberplein during the E-Moves festival that will attract international fans of all kinds of Urban Sports. On Friday evening the practice session will take place with the entire contest scheduled for Saturday June 17th.
The international field of riders will compete for a pro purse of € 5000,= to be divided by the top 7. In the morning of June 17th a group of local riders will battle for the last spots in the 040 Invitational. Today, Woodward Copper announced Larry Edgar, pro BMX rider, to join the list of pro coaches that have been scheduled to rip up the terrain for the 2017 Summer BMX Camp. Larry will team up with Adam Baker and other expert BMX coaches from June 18-24, to help campers sharpen their riding skills and tricks in an array of bike courses, including the Woodward Copper Barn, indoor bowl, mini ramp and street course. Edgar, pro BMX rider for Vans, Fly Bikes, Stay Strong BMX and Ride 100% recently won Simple Session 2017 and secured third in the 2017 Vans BMX Pro Cup. His freedom to be creative through riding has inspired those in the action sports industry and even more so, those of the younger generation.
