When you walk in the workshop, that smell, does it make you feel like home, or do you hate it?
Joby: It stinks good.
What welding skills do you have? Could you weld aluminium too?
Joby: All of them. And yes.

What’s the hardest part about welding a frame together?

Joby: Dry eyes
Do you prefer working on custom frames?
Joby: Generally yes, unless I don't feel like thinking as much
Who is/was your master? Who taught you the welding skills?
Joby: I don't have a 'master' but I was taught a lot at Boces in high school and then got better through experience. John Corts and Big Dave helped me refine my abilities for welding bikes though.

Joby: Pretty much everything.
If someone wants to start welding BMX frames, what would be your advice?
Joby: Learn to weld. Move to Taiwan.
