This Holiday 2017 season, Vans partners with The North Face to create a collection of apparel, accessories and footwear that combine both brands’ aesthetic and technology to create fashionable and functional cold weather offerings in black, red and yellow. The Vans apparel team expanded upon the trusted Torrey Jacket to create the Vans x TNF Torrey MTE jacket complete with Thermoball technology to keep you warm. In addition, Vans x TNF introduce the Base Camp Duffle, inspired by the iconic bag and modified for the first time, introducing a skate strap.

Three days of competition launched in Chengdu, China’s Nan Hu Park today as the fourth and final stop of the FISE World Tour opened its doors for a weekend of LIVE action sports. Followed by 1 million spectators worldwide, the festival will wrap up its 20th season here in Chengdu before a curious, highly-enthusiastic crowd.

“They smile, they’re happy…So for the riders, it’s fun because we discover a new type of person,” said Alex Jumelin, the only rider who has been with FISE since its inception. Staging a demonstration of Flatland BMX Friday afternoon, Jumelin said no one could have predicted where FISE would wind up two decades after it launched on the beachfront French town of Montpellier.

Our Japanese distributor, Motocross International brought over Kevin Peraza, Ben Wallace and Brayden Barrett-Hay to ride in the YBP Games. We also took a tour around Japan visiting some great shops and riding local parks. Thanks Japan for an amazing time!

It's moments like these that make it all worthwhile. Jimmy Levan has been a hero for us at DIG and graced the pages of our magazine from the earliest of days, sending street riding in a whole other direction since Road Fools 1 with those enormous gaps in all sorts of wild outfits. Not only did he create a brand and home for the loosest of riders, and entertained us all through numerous episodes of Props with his antics, but he had an equally outrageous string of accidents that could have ended his life.
