Mankind is very happy to announce the new addition to the Mankind Team, which is 20 year old Martyn Cooper from Kettering, near Northhampton in the UK.
England´s finest, Phil Aller, rides for KHE. The German company is pleased to have him on board and wishes him a successful 2007. Right now, he rides a Method2 bike, but he will design his own signature frame for next year. The work has just begun. By the way, Phil appears on a dance mix of Pink Floyd´s “Brick in the Wall”, which you can look at on MTV or at the media section on the KHE website. The Remedy guys with a little help of Kink Kong are organizing a jam at their getto mini ramp with spine in Warsaw, Poland. There will be hardcore/punk music, bmx movies, vegan food and cheap beer available at the Elba skatepark. This is really small event but everyone is welcome.
The night started off late as usual. My friend Heather and I got to the venue at around 6:20pm with the red carpet to begin at 6:30pm but it turned out to be more like 7:00pm before the first celebrities arrived. So there we stood, outside in the freezing cold (yes, it was probably about 60 or so and being from SoCal...that constitutes freezing for us) waiting for the show to begin. The first person to arrive was wake-boarder Dallas Friday. Following her where the hosts of the evenings festivities, the guys of Jackass including Steve-O and Preston Lacy. All I have to say is with those guys around, just expect the unexpected, they are all around really nice guys though.
