If you’re looking for bars, there’s this one street that has a lot of them, but there are numerous bars and restaurants all over the city. When typing in “Mexican Restaurant” Markus and I had several options. The one we picked was good. Pricing, just normal. Probably more expensive in Vilnius than every other city in Lithuania, but that’s the way the world works. Try buying a beer at the Champs-Élysées in the heart of Paris and it will be more expensive than at your local bar. For a capital, the prices in Vilnius were just fine.
We haven’t explored the entire city in the time we were there as most of the time was spent at Banga Ramp Park which was the goal of the trip. But surely we’ll see ourselves come back for a couple of days to see more of Vilnius. The airport isn’t too far away, hotels are affordable. We were lucky not to have to rely on public transportation because Martynas drove us around, but we saw the Volt scooters (helmet mandatory) for instance so getting around the city without having to walk the distance is possible.
Vilnius, we’ll be back.
