A one off mag back in 1998 has continued to roll out of the collective heads of so many talented people and off the printing press 50 times. I’m quietly amazed, definitely very proud and seriously stoked to have been able to put so much back into something that has given me so much over the years. Looking back through the issues brings back so many memories. The stories, the photos, the mess ups, the events and the amazing times, they all make up what 2020 was, is and will be. It's seven years ago today that we were on our way to Tokyo of the Circle Of Balance event. On the way up there we stopped at the Geisselstrasse in Cologne for some carnaval festivities. Unprepared we dove straight in there and before you know it we were wasted and having an awesome time. But then Der Kaiser called the Tokyo crew over to go to the airport in Frankfurt. I still can't believe they let us on the plane but we made it. Today Carnaval in Cologne has started and today the new issue of Freedom BMX magazine can be found at the newsstand.
