For the second year in a row the Red Bull R.Evolution took place in Berlin, Germany. The Mellowpark hosted the event once again. Last year before the event the racers were kind of sceptical on the race as it involved ramps and big jumps, but after last year's success, the 2013 participants were looking forward to the R.Evolution a lot. When pictures started showing up on the internet people had a hard time figuring out what the track was going to look like. At one point, after the huge step up jump, the track split up and it involved some wooden rollers on top of a bridge in both lanes. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
