When Nike got into BMX a few years ago I wasn't sure if it would work. The action sports community has formed a big market but weren't there enough brands that covered the scene? Maybe yes, but Nike kept on doing things right and their shoes are super comfortable. With the power of NIKE behind it they can do cool stuff too like sending their team all over the planet to shoot some pics and videos or change colors whenever they feel like it. We received a tube with some new kicks and an all over printed hoodie. It also included a catalog with their BMX team riders in it. In the end it will push BMX and when the pie gets bigger, the little companies profit as well.
