Pro‐tec helps you go bigger and ride longer with helmets and pads for skate, bike, snow, and water. The 2011 Pro‐tec line utilizes groundbreaking technologies that are unparalleled in the market including SXP, “Swing Lock”, Crushcore and the BOA fit system. Pro‐tec’s patented SXP multiple impact technology allows for unprecedented protection. SXP was developed by the same group of scientists who made automotive steel

bumpers obsolete in the 80s through their advances in moldable foam. SXP works because the material has memory. When conventional helmets take a hard hit, the foam liner stays compacted. SXP has built‐in rebound control with the foam regaining its original shape and maintaining its impact absorbing qualities.

PRO‐TEC BIKE BMX

Pro‐tec x Odyssey
Celebrating over 25 years of originality, heritage and style, Pro‐tec

is proud to partner with legendary part maker Odyssey, on a sick new bike helmet for 2011. Working closely with Odyssey, they colored our Classic silhouette with a sharp Odyssey bolt graphic, delivering an iconic helmet that’s a nod to bmx’s roots from the mid ‘80s. Featuring a high impact ABS shell, EPS liner and 11 open vents, the helmet comes in 5 different sizes and 3 shell breaks. An Odyssey sticker pack and custom slider box complete the package.

Pro‐tec/2011 Overview
The B2 blends classic style with revolutionary SXP multiple impact protection. Available in three different shell sizes, the B2 is the helmet of choice of BMX heavies Alistair Whitton, Scotty Cranmer, Chase Hawk and Gary Young. This season’s model is offered in five sizes and colors, including Hawk’s signature model featuring a cool hawk graphic on a sleek gloss black helmet.

The Ace continues to be one of the most recognizable helmets on the street and includes signature models by Ryan Guettler and Chris Doyle. Increased venting, an aero‐styled shell and multiple impact technology are the key features here. The Guettler model features a killer zombie graphic and all signature helmets include a rider sponsor sticker pack.

Pads & Accessories
The Pinner elbow/forearm and knee/shin guards are built tough and provide supreme comfort and ventilation. Ultra reinforced injection molded knee, shin, elbow and forearm caps protect your bones, while an anatomic compression molded interior with flowthrough air channels keep you cool and comfortable. The newly added joint sleeves on the knee and elbow areas provide moisturewicking, while keeping pads positioned correctly whether you’re riding your local trails or tearing up the race circuit.

Pro‐tec/2011 Overview
Designed to take the hardest

impacts, the new Gravity knee pad features an anatomical two‐ply EVA foam padded internal hard cap and medial and lateral knee padding to keep you bruise free. Moisture wicking Dri‐lex panels allow for airflow, while comfy top and bottom stretch gore straps with hook‐and‐loop closures keep pads in place.

The popular Hands Down Glove features a single layer synthetic leather palm with no stitch lines for ultimate comfort and grip feel, as well as silicon grippers across the palm, trigger fingers and thumb. The back of the glove is constructed with a lightweight air mesh panel and 4‐way stretch corded nylon paneling for max breath ability and wear re

sistance. Lightweight TPR rubber knuckle and finger guards keep your hands safe. Available in two colors this season including a bright color‐pop “Retro” model.

The Hi‐5 glove is a slim fitting, breathable glove that provides exceptional grip and bar feel with a ventilated mesh upper that keeps the hands cool. A no‐hassle elastic stretch wrist closure with a handy pull tab ensures the right fit

every time. Available in three colors this season including an all new green and black Ryan Guettler signature model.

The Knuckle Sandwich glove is the most protective glove in the line. Key features include an EVA foam‐backed anatomically molded hard cap for knuckles and TPR rubber finger guards. With a dual layered, vented and padded synthetic leather palm and an easy adjustable closure hook, this glove has you covered.
