Vans Pro BMX riders will be at The Block in Orange and The Florida Vans Skate Park on March 31st - April 4th.

Vans Skatepark CA March 31 & April 1, 2008
Vans Pro BMX riders Cory Nastazio, Gary Young, Robbie Morales and Chase Hawk will be instructing an exclusive BMX camp at Vans Skatepark at The Block. Instruction will be given for intermediate to advanced riders during the two-day camp. The camp will run from 8am - 12pm both days and the park will be closed to the public during instruction. Cost is $150 for members and $175 for nonmembers. Registration is currently open at the park.

Everyone has got something to say about the weather. You can complain about it but that won't help. You get what you get and you have to deal with it. In some parts of the world the sun shines on a regular basis. In other parts of the world, you have to seize the moment when the big yellow ball can be seen. The March issue of RIDE BMX had a unique story of Nick Halsey, Jeff Z, T-Nez and Corey Bohan in Fiji. They built ramps in amazing places and shot awesome pics that you can see in the magazine. A video about the trip showed up on YouTube and you can see that the tricks in the photos were actually pulled. Leave it to Red Bull to come up with something like this.

Last weekend was good. For once the sun came out and although it was cold (there was ice on the puddles) everyone got out to do stuff. It was perfect to shape the trails and both the Sugar Hills in Aarle-Rixtel as well as the Helm Trails in Helmond got a make-over. Not an extreme make-over but the trails are rideable again and have some new sections. We'll have to check what Piet Paulusma has to say about the weather for the coming days but  you can count on some trails activity at both spots this weekend again. Join in and bring that shovel too.
