What a great day to wrap up this year’s series. We had sunshine all day and Eastpak flew in some pro's to give a closing demo. Hannu and
Sig Cools, Arthur Dietrich and
Stefan Lantscher who was also the Birthday boy. But all eyes were on the riders. Who qualified for the finals?
In expert
Shanice de la Cruz, winner of last year’s expert class, was the great favorite. She did her best to win it a second time and landed some big tricks like 360's, no handers to turndowns over the box and tried to pull a bodyvarial but she didn't pull it. But from out of nowhere 13 year old
Joost Challa went home with the win. He was dialed and threw in some nice 360's over the spine and some big no handers over the box.

In Pro class everybody was on fire.
Daniel Wedemeijer tried hard to get his second win but with Rotterdam locals
Celso Rosario and
Channon Balorian the battle was on. Third place was for
Celso who was just having fun all day and threw in a lot of good tricks but didn't have the variations that the others had.

Second place went to
Daniel who was going high and even with his nosedive 3's, big lookbacks and tailwhip transfer it wasn't enough for the winning.
First place went to
Channon "el Toro". He was so dialed with all his tricks; 720's, big no handers over the box and flip's, a few 360 combos over the spine and a big flair to close it down.
It was a great day and we're coming back next year with a bigger series.
