Thousands of BMX riders from all corners of the globe are making their final efforts to qualify for the 2009 World Championships in Adelaide between 23 – 26 July. This World Championships is the first since the sport made his impressive debut at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Back on the dirt track will be many of the medallists and finalists hoping to claim the prestigious World number one plate.

Last year we went to Goirle for the first time ever and had plans to go back again. This failed but this Saturday we're heading back up there for the Hellentrails jam. You see, getting a jam together helps. Lots of locals are going to make the trip so it will be good. Hopefully the weather will hold up but the sand can absorb some water over there. There's no entry fee but still everyone needs to sign a waiver to be able to ride. A helmet is mandatory and actually that's a good thing.
