Action Sports event producer ASA Entertainment (ASA) kicks off its 2010 season with an ASA Big Air BMX Triples (Triples) event at Northern Illinois University’s (NIU) Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois. On March 20th, the top men in freestyle BMX will take on the challenge of the 180-foot long course consisting of a 25-foot high drop-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending quarter-pipe, all while grabbing ‘big air’ to perform their flips, flairs, whips and spins for the event title.

Airing Sunday, November 15, at 8:00pm Eastern Time (5:00pm Pacific Time), and re-airing several more times during the next month, BMX Pro Ryan Nyquist stars in FUEL TV’s signature 30-minute series “Firsthand.” For the past ten years, Ryan Nyquist has been a household name in BMX, and one of the most accomplished pro BMX riders in the world. Follow along with Ryan on his “Firsthand” as he takes us through his summer of 2009, starting off in his hometown of San Jose, California with a jumping competition titled Warriors of Wood that he organized and competed in, then traveling to Koln, Germany for the BMX Worlds competition, where he does well despite the rainy weather conditions.

Then watch as he spends some quality time at home with his family and takes us through his daily responsibilities as a new father and family man. After the home visit, it’s off to the Dew Tour in Portland, Oregon for another great weekend of BMX.

Round five for the worlds biggest BMX Freestyle Contest will take place July, 9th to 11th in Cologne. Once again the traditional home of BMX Freestyle the Jugendpark will be the hosting for this event. The date for BMX Masters 2010 is fixed. From July 9th to 11th the best riders from all over the world will be coming to participate in this one of it’s kind event. 400 riders from all over the world, among them more than 200 pros, will participate in five freestyle disciplines: Dirt, Park, Miniramp, Vert and Flatland. There will be two classes: Amateur and Pro. BMX-Girls also get the chance to participate in the disciplines Park and Flatland.
