BMX Beat was a popular BMX Freestyle TV show broadcast on the UK's main commercial channel, ITV between 1984 - 1987 on Saturday mornings. Hosted by Andy Ruffell and various co-hosts including Gaz Top (Gareth Jones), Alistair Pirrie and Ron Stebbene.

Fulll compilation of all the heats & final of the Kelloggs BMX freestyle comp 1985.. The Kellogg's BMX Championship was a hugely popular TV Series hosted by Mick Brown and Andy Ruffell. The show was broadcast on the UKs Channel 4 in 1984 and 1985.

Edit I made years ago with old footage from Cardiff 's ramp room on north road, Maindy (where the new student flats are built on). Top place to ride back then for ramps or flatland, and many pro's from all over the UK visited at some point. Andy Reardon, Marc Reardon and Mike Cameron were the most prolific riders to come from Cardiff.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
