Stolen USA plans to start distribution operations in the Fall of 2012. Stolen USA will use its in-house distribution to reconnectwith dealers, get a better understanding of the retailer's needs, and provide an additional supply line for the Stolen and Fiction brands. Currently, QBP is the sole US distributor for both Stolen and Fiction. Stolen USA’s inventory in SoCal will compliment QBP's current distribution centers in Utah, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.

Triton Imports have made their first move into distribution by securing a brand steeped in heritage. Triton will be importing the popular and highly stylized range of retro BMX, race BMX and fixed gear bikes. With first stocks arriving around mid April, new and current dealers should contact Triton straight away for more info on pricing and availability.

Hey guys, I keep seeing a lot of questions about my association with Madd Gear, and apparently whoever sent my new edit over didn't really clarify my relationship with MGP (Madd Gear). Allan Cooke has resigned his position as BMX Brand Manager, a position he has held at Haro for nearly three years. “During this time, Allan has led a team that has significantly changed the face of Haro BMX and pointed it back in the direction of its creative roots,” said Joe Hawk, Haro’s COO.

Allan has decided to take a job with a leading manufacturer of helmets located in his native Northern California and assuming the duties of Sports Marketing and Events Coordinator. Allan’s last day at Haro will be Wednesday, April 4th.

“He shares some of the same qualities as Haro’s founder Bob Haro-love of the sport, strong work ethic, and making great product ridden by the world’s best athletes. We will miss him but we are appreciative of the care and direction he’s given the brand during his tenure at Haro,” added Hawk.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the contest starting at 2:30 p.m. Winners will receive a one-year pass to ride for free at the Vans Skatepark, including a sponsor prize pack and a 1st place trophy.

Interbike isn't the only bicycle show on the planet. It might have the biggest BMX party of the year with Ride BMX's NORA CUP, but the BMX industry travels around to more shows than the one in Las Vegas. The Taipei show is well up there on the importance ladder, along with the Eurobike show in Germany in September. NASS Regional BMX Park Qualifying Series Relentless Energy Drink NASS 2012will introduces a qualifying system for The Relentless Energy Drink NASS ‘BMX Park’ Event. Athletes will only be able to compete at NASS through previous results at major events, regional UK qualifiers or wildcard slots. Each qualifying round will offer a prize purse of up to £2,000 and the opportunity to compete for a place at the prestigious BMX ‘Park’ Event at NASS with prize money of £18,000.

Qualifying Details: Each qualifying event will offer 5 places into the NASS park BMX event. Events are open to anyone including those pre qualified. Should a pre qualified athlete finish in the top 5 the next non qualified athlete will move into that position.

Today, Dig BMX Magazine and Quality Bike Products (QBMX) announce that QBMX will distribute Dig in the US to its network of BMX dealers from issue 87 (on sale 29th February). The partnership will allow Dig BMX to further expand its extensive US newsstand and international distribution to reach an even greater audience. This partnership will coincide with the re-launched and enhanced Dig website at the end of February.
