The 2021 UEC European Championships took place in Zolder, Belgium today. With over 800 entries still a big event considering the pandemic and the Olympic Games happening later this month. While some chose to opt out of the race to stay safe for the big one in Tokyo, others used the Euros to get in the race mood, pick up a title and made good use of the absence of some of the big dogs. The grandstands on the first straight were packed while masks were mandatory. The crowd got to see some great racing on the proven track of Heusden-Zolder. Things heated up in the Elite Men class and some of the favourites crashed in the first Round but had the Last Chance Qualifier to try to make it through. This happened to Arthur Pilard from France for instance who later ended up winning the

Name: Luke Haralambous
Hometown: Birmingham, UK
Started riding BMX in: Around '81
Number of bikes in the collection: 9 left (8 VDC, 1 GJS)
Do you remember the moment that you decided to start collecting BMX memorabilia?
Luke Haralambous: Late '90s, it felt like I was the only one into old school BMX back then. Many friends questioned why I had BMX.
Is the focus on VDC, Vincent Frames and Vector Bikes for you mainly?
Luke Haralambous: Now it's just VDC freestylers I own, I have stopped buying BMX, don't get me wrong if I was offered another MK1/2 , VDC freestyler, it would be hard to turn down... I've collected Vector, Hutch, TRM and Vincent over the years
Where does the love for these brands come from?
Luke Haralambous: Good question, because the brands I have collected I had never heard of as a kid! Think it comes down to my love of quirkiness. The wackier the better. Rarity is also a big draw.
The Olympics happen every 4 years. Tokyo had a delay of a year but in a few weeks BMX racing and BMX Park will be part of it. It has been a long road for the BMX-ers who made it there. Some have celebrated their participation already by getting to build up a special ride just for the Olympic Games. In the time leading up to the games we are going to check in with the special rides. Today's Olympic machine: Romain Mahieu (FRA).

Sometimes we ask ourselves how to keep the garage clean and more organized. The garage is usually a spacious area big enough to fit your car in securely. But besides keeping your car safe, the garage can be also be used to store many items safely. Firstly, you will need to understand how much space you would need for your car, bikes, lawnmower, and other large items you possess. Then you can understand how much extra space you have to plan and store other items in a more organized manner.
Before deciding to add more things to your garage, you can start by categorizing and dividing the garage into different zones. It helps you figure out what can go where and then store categories together based on your space. Decluttering and having to keep only the things that are necessary is very important. Every house tends to store things in their garage that they don't need, use, or shouldn't even be storing. The garage becomes a dumping ground for the household when you accumulate and have too much of everything.
