Love the vibe of this mix video from Jacob Lowe / Grip it Rip It and his Denver bros. With clips from NE, IA, TX, AZ, CA, it's got a bit of everything, even some Super 8. "Up In Thin Air features riding from Matt Childers, Colin Post, and Evan Johnson. Filmed all across the country during countless road trips, weekend missions, skatepark chills, alley way cruises, and school yard sessions over the past few years." - Jacob Lowe

You've lived in San Diego for a few years now, how is that treating you?
Mike: It's a dream come true. California is a truly amazing place, and an absolute Mecca for bmx and pretty much everything. Next level food. Nice to stay warm all year too and be able to work with all the best media dudes daily. I really enjoy living there.
Still you manage to organise events back in Canada. What's the main reason you're doing that?
Mike: I started an event called Canadian BMX Day a few years back, and the main purpose for our event is to give the local Toronto scene an amazing opportunity to win some prizes and have the most fun day

Vans celebrates its long-lasting BMX heritage with the debut of the Style 112 Pro in team rider Dakota Roche’s signature colorway. Available now, the Style 112 Pro is built with proven Vans UltraCush technology to fit the demands of BMX’s heaviest street rider, Dakota Roche. Dakota Roche’s signature Style 112 Pro is featured in the Vans California Native Collection, designed in black suede and a contrasting burnt olive Sidestripe. Built with Vans’ original waffle outsole and Duracap reinforced uppers, this silhouette delivers unrivaled durability and a firm no-slip grip. The Style 112 Pro was inspired by feedback from the Vans BMX team, employing Vans Vulc Lite construction and UltraCush HD sockliners to keep the foot close to the pedal while providing the highest level of impact cushioning needed for Dak’s unforgiving riding style.

Alex Valentino is a bad ass human being. It was awesome to watch him go in so hard for his Still United section (especially barspinning the Barca wedge with severe meat paw) and all with that classic French vavavoom. Enjoy his extra clips and behind-the-scenes in the latest episode of the Still United Files.
